Nafa Quick Cash Transfer MIS (Kaarange)
National Nutrition Agency (NaNA) / World Bank
Overview
The Government of The Gambia launched the Nafa Quick emergency cash transfer programme targeting approximately 50,000 vulnerable households. 2M Corp designed and developed the Kaarange MIS to manage the end-to-end process — from beneficiary registration through payment disbursement and post-payment reconciliation.
The system supported bulk import and manual entry with duplicate detection, project assignment, automated payroll generation, payment service provider coordination, mobile device support for field operations, finance reconciliation tools, and comprehensive post-payment reporting.
Impact
Kaarange became the operational backbone of the Nafa Quick programme, enabling efficient cash disbursement to tens of thousands of vulnerable households. Its success led to adoption in the larger USD 31 million World Bank-funded Nafa Project, demonstrating platform scalability for national-level social protection.
