Youth Empowerment Project — M&E
International Trade Centre (ITC)
Overview
The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) supported youth economic empowerment through skills training, entrepreneurship support, and MSME development. 2M Corp provided M&E services including form development, data compilation from multiple programme components, and beneficiary follow-up surveys.
Data quality assurance addressed challenges from fragmented data management practices, including cleaning, validating, standardising entries for beneficiaries appearing across multiple records, and resolving inconsistencies. COVID-19 disruptions required adapted data collection schedules.
Monitoring dashboards were developed to provide programme managers with real-time visibility into key performance indicators, enabling data-driven decision making.
Impact
The M&E work established reliable foundations for programme decision-making and addressed root causes of information fragmentation that had hampered the programme's ability to demonstrate and improve its impact.
