About

Yaya Saidou Jallow is the Co-Founder and CEO of 2M Corp, bringing over a decade of experience in economics, data analytics, and large-scale impact evaluations across Africa. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Leicester, an MPhil from the University of Ghana, and a BSc from the University of The Gambia. Before founding 2M Corp, Yaya served as a Lecturer at the University of The Gambia and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Leicester. He has consulted for the World Bank, UNDP, UNICEF, and the Gambia Bureau of Statistics on impact evaluations, multidimensional poverty analysis, and health programme assessments.

At 2M Corp, Yaya leads the company's survey and evaluation portfolio. He directed the PAMP Civil Service & Pensioner Verification — a nationwide exercise covering approximately 58,000 government personnel — and has led impact evaluations for the World Bank School Feeding programme, the MEISS education evaluation, and the Gambia Classes for Open Learning (GCOL) learning assessments for the Luminos Foundation. Other major engagements include the MCC Education Compact Survey, the National Childcare Demand Survey for the World Bank, the Open Location Codes research with KMC and the University of Essex, NOVAFRICA migration research surveys, and the OneSight Eye Care Accessibility Survey. He co-designed the Nafa Quick Cash Transfer MIS (Kaarange), led the Social Registry Update Strategy for GamSR, directed the Government Data Assessment & Inventory, and managed the Youth Empowerment Project M&E. Yaya also drives the development of HoneyGuide — 2M Corp's proprietary survey pipeline and data quality platform.
